Alzheimer's is such a devastating disease and in many cases is as horrific for the family and care providers as it is the patient. And that's not intended to mitigate the suffering of those who have it. It's important to bring greater awareness and understanding of the disease into the mainstream and the theatre is a powerful vehicle for doing so.
