THE WORDS OF POETS

The Words of Poets by k.s. lewis
I listen to poets,
Call me the audience.
When I hear words put in order it entrances me,
enhances me
I don’t mean the orders of before
I mean orders never before.
When that happens it makes me cry
It makes me think I have died
But most of all it inspires me to try
To create the ultimate explanation
of what the world
Should be.
It drives me
to defy inequity and inequality
to reject all those knowing rejections
Inspiration by the words of poets creates justice by revolution
Drives humanity to destinations and solutions not attainable
By ordinary fuel
The words of poets
Loads a fuel for transformation of a world gone awry
The conversion of observation to words to images
By poets living in poverty and consternation
filtering their emotions and tears
to find the injections of inspiration for others
Comes from minds willing to sacrifice
Their lives To the endless search for order
That may never be found
But I tell you it can happen
Because I feel the tremors when I listen
To poets finding fuel never found
The inspiration for everyone to change
to come together without blame or shame
And when a poet comes close to perfection
When I hear words put in order it entrances me,
enhances me
I don’t mean the orders of before
I mean orders never before.
When that happens it makes me cry
It makes me think I have died
But most of all it inspires me to try
To create the ultimate explanation
of what the world should be for everyone.
