My address: Law 2543 California, Denver CO 80205. Practicing law has changed meaning over the years: as an associate attorney at a 17th Street law firm "practicing law" meant working in an impressive set of offices billing long hours and bringing in money for partners. Bills to clients reflected the cost of the setting. When a client hired us then, she hired the location and overhead of the firm as well as multiple attorneys. I was not all that happy "practicing law" that way. My tie was too tight I guess. Now I have a small plain office in Five Points with low overhead and I know more than I did. I don't wear a tie when I am not in court. My purpose is to give clients needed advice and representation, advice that is realistic and affordable. Not surprisingly, I enjoy "practicing law" now.
