Kurt Lewis

Writer, Lawyer, Poet, Fool and Visionary.

I have practiced law for 25 years and the practice of law has allowed me to meet countless people from all walks of life, many of them call me for the first time in dire circumstances, for most people do not call a lawyer until the circumstances are dire. I provide the best advice I can provide to the individuals I represent based upon my experience, creativity, research and knowledge of the law.

In 1995 I returned to the theater which I had explored in college but which was secondary to playing baseball. I took acting, writing and voice classes at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts which were critical for my development as an actor and writer. There i studied with Birgitta Dupree, Luanne Nunes, Alan Osbourne, Lee Marssaro and many others, all of whom provided inspiration.

Thereafter I acted with Industrial Arts, wrote 10 minute plays with Write Angle Productions, wrote the Blue Vagabond a play that in some ways defines my soul, and began producing theater such as Lorca's House of Bernarda Alba. I realized that my life was not complete without adding creativity to the equation.

Although the equation is complex, the eventual result, sum or product if you will is the creation of Crossroads at Five Points with many other like minded artists.
